How Vantedge Ventures handles personal data in connection with this website.

Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This website is operated by Vantedge Ventures, an independently owned business registered in India (referred to in this policy as “Vantedge Ventures”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We are the data fiduciary in respect of personal data processed through this website.

You can reach us about anything in this policy at vantedgeventures.in@gmail.com.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy covers personal data we process in connection with this website and with enquiries sent to the email addresses published on it. It does not cover any separate product, storefront or service that may be operated by a venture under Vantedge Ventures; those will publish their own notices where required.

3. Information we collect

This website has no contact form, no account sign-up, no newsletter and no other way to submit information directly. The only way we receive personal data is if you choose to write to us by email.

Information you give us

If you write to us, we receive whatever you choose to include, typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We do not require you to create an account, and currently this website does not sell anything or take payments.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is served, which may include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time of the request. This is used for security, diagnostics and to keep the site running.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we later introduce privacy-respecting analytics or any cookie that is not strictly necessary, this policy will be updated and, where the law requires it, your consent will be requested first.

4. How and why we use personal data

  • To read, respond to and follow up on enquiries you send us.
  • To operate, secure, maintain and improve this website.
  • To keep records of business correspondence.
  • To comply with applicable law and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Legal basis

Where the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 applies, we process personal data on the basis of your consent (given when you choose to contact us) or for the legitimate uses permitted under that Act, including where you have voluntarily provided your data for a specified purpose. Where other laws apply to you, we rely on the equivalent lawful bases of consent, contract, legal obligation or legitimate interests.

6. Sharing

We do not share personal data except with service providers who help us operate this site and our email (for example, website hosting and email providers), who process it on our instructions. We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, court order or a competent authority.

7. Storage and international transfer

Our service providers may store or process data on servers located outside India. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the provider offers an appropriate standard of protection.

8. Retention

We keep correspondence for as long as needed for the purpose it was sent, and afterwards only where we have a legal or legitimate business reason to do so. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, and in particular the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
  • ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your personal data;
  • withdraw a consent you have given, at any time;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf; and
  • raise a grievance about how we have handled your data.

To exercise any of these, write to vantedgeventures.in@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We will respond within the timelines required by law.

11. Grievances

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data or a request, you may write to us at vantedgeventures.in@gmail.com with “Privacy grievance” in the subject line. If your concern remains unresolved, you may escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

12. Children

This website is intended for a business audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Links to other websites

This site may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their notices.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the company and the website develop. The current version is always the one published on this page.
